Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt celebrated in 1999 its 650th anniversary - 1349-1999 - and is a world recognized producer of the finest German Riesling wines from the Moselle, Saar and Ruwer region. All vineyards are family-owned. The Kesselstatt estate has always managed its vineyards to emphasize quality. Strict limitations on yields, modern temperature controlled stainless steel fermentation tanks and perfect storage conditions ensure that the Kesselstatt Riesling wines show a great character. Only Riesling grapes are cultivated on the 36 ha of its top Moselle-Saar-Ruwer vineyard sites. It is the goal of the Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt estate to reflect the terroir in its Rieslings and to maintain the fruit and aroma of the grapes in the wines. These characteristics - clear fruit and transparency - make Riesling so unique. All wines are fermented with native yeasts at very low temperatures. Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt is a member of the VDP Grosser Ring Mosel-Saar-Ruwer.
