Micromers is an importer and distributor of BIO (Bottled
in Origin) wines in India. It markets its products under the trade name
‘Wine Park’. The goal is to promote and sell wines in India
by bring quality wines from various regions of the world. Wine Park works
with one or two winery from each region which truly expresses the region
in its wines style.

Vishal Kadakia
Proprietor
Vishal is a wine enthusiast and aficionado. His passion for wines has led him to start Wine Park, which in a short span had expanded to all India. He has done intermediate course in wines from Wine Spirit and Education Trust (WSET), London at the Johnson and Wales University, Rhode Island, USA.
He also has a Master of Science degree in Polymers from University of Massachusetts, USA. Vishal recently relocated to Mumbai, India after having worked and lived in Boston, USA for 8 years.
Vishal is also a Director of Kadakia Plastics & Chemicals Pvt. Ltd his family owned company which manufactures PVC compounds and masterbatches for various industrial applications.
Ashu Kalra
Executive - Logistics
Ashu has done her Bachelors of Engineering in India, followed by MBA from Katz School of Business, University of Pittsburg, USA. She worked in several different companies in Washington, Memphis, and Boston before settling down in Mumbai India.
She plays an integral role in maintaining the logistic and supply chain of all wines for Wine Park.

Size & Facts
India imported about 200,000 cases of wine. In five years this is expected to grow to 500,000 cases annually.
Indian wine scenario is on rise and is expected to grow at the rate of 30% annually over the next 10 years.
Indians consumed a total of 635,000 cases of wine last year. By 2010, the estimated consumption is approximately 1.8 million cases and by 2015 it is expected to hit 10 million cases.
Red wine has the largest market share of 45% followed by 40% of white wine, and 13% sparkling wine.
About 85 percent of the imported wine is consumed by hotels and the remaining 15 percent by independent restaurants.
The relaxation of import duties, permission by super markets to sell wines and reduction in wine license fees will further increase the sales of wines in India.
