The 2003 Rutherford Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is deep, dark purple to the eye, opening with aromas of ripe crushed blackberry layered with subtle caramel and vanilla. The palate is rich and round with forward black fruits that are surrounded by tiers of polished, silky tannin leading to a long, elegant finish.
